At Clean Air America, Inc. we take the performance of our products extremely seriously. It is for this reason that we have assembled a wide variety of equipment to ensure the performance of our Zero Mist™ units. Our commitment to quality goes beyond the initial factory implementation. We follow-up a majority of Zero Mist™ installations to ensure that the systems are operating at the optimum level and the desired standard.
For measuring oil mist concentration before and after each filter we use a 8532 DustTrak, Aerosol Monitor. In addition, this unit is a pressure and flow meter used to determine pressure drop and air flow. The 8532 DustTrak, Aerosol Monitor can be used with three different impactors to measure the concentration in three different particle fractions: 0.1 - 1 µm, 0.1 - 2.5 µm and 0.1 - 10 µm.
Rather than install a complete oil mist system into a facility to replace an existing poor performing system, sometimes it is possible to create a custom design solution. For example, the ductwork, fan and other parts of the existing system can be used with a custom Clean Air Zero Mist™ body. This is a good method of reducing costs and radically improving the air quality.
Issue: Health and safety organizations are introducing more stringent recommendations for the control of oil mist.
Zero Mist™ exceeds all international H&S standards.
Issue: Workers are becoming increasingly concerned with potential health issues arising from exposure to oil mist.
With integral HEPA filtration, the outlet air from a Zero Mist™ unit is of a level similar to that found in sterile areas and clean rooms used for clinical applications.
Issue: Pools of oil mist collected on the floor create widespread slip hazards.
Zero Mist™ removes practically 100% of oil from the airstream, eliminating slip hazards.
Issue: Oil mist has dulled the workshop lighting creating a depressing, unpleasant work environment.
Zero Mist™ removes oil mist from the source - negating any problems with oil mist covering factory fittings.
Issue: Oil mist concentrations needed to be included in company risk assessments.
Zero Mist™ consultants can visit your location and conduct a comprehensive oil mist survey. The resultant report can be used as part of risk assessments for internal use, insurance purposes, and also as part of health and safety regulations.
Issue: It can be difficult to compare the oil mist concentrations across a number of different facilities.
Zero Mist™ oil mist surveys are of a common format, meaning that the performance of each location can be compared at-a-glance.
