SOUTHEASTERN METAL AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENT MANUFACTURER PARTNERS WITH CLEAN AIR AMERICA FOR WELD SMOKE SOLUTIONS

December 4, 2018

A prominent international manufacturer of metal automotive components recently returned to Clean Air America for filtration solutions in a state-of-the-art expansion in the southeastern United States.

While planning the facility’s expansion, the global manufacturer turned to Clean Air America, Inc., a long-standing partner in energy-savings and air filtration, for removal of weld smoke around robotic welding cells.  Utilizing building plans and schematics, Clean Air developed a clean air plan, and as the facility was completed, installed a Clean Air BRAHM™ Series BC12 Collector unit, which also provides energy-saving technology within the solution.  This partner has chosen Clean Air America for multiple projects throughout the decade as Clean Air has proven reliability, lower maintenance costs, and solutions that provide compact footprints to conserve valuable manufacturing space in robotic welding setups.

The Clean Air BRAHM Collector series of high performance collectors are available in a variety of sizes and various options to cover specific project needs. These collectors require a ducted system and are ideal for a variety of applications including; welding, grinding, plasma & laser cutting, buffing, polishing, sanding, mixing operations, blasting and many more.

The Brahm Series™ Collectors revolutionize and expand the dust collection industry. With the addition of collectors featuring up to 85,000 CFM, these machines are truly a power house. With the addition of features including zero-down-time pulse cleaning and speed pulsing, the collectors increase productivity while simultaneously increasing air quality. Usability has been ramped up with the addition of the Synapse™ control panel. The touch screen controls allow for scheduled run times, integration into the manufacturing process, self-diagnostics, and data capture, which further reduces maintenance costs. The new design features many personnel-focused changes including quick change filters, tool-less filter clamps, plug and play connections, and fast action latches.

Clean Air America stands ready to assist with air filtration solutions for any major project your plant or facility is undertaking.  For more information call 866.665.1829, visit www.clean-air.com, or email sales@clean-air.com.
