The Brahm Central Dust and Fume Collector Series is ideal for your process. Our team is capable of providing turn-key solutions by helping you identify your problem and designing a system custom fit for your application. Use our configurators below to quickly get an estimate on the cost of your project.
Downflow Technology: The Brahm Series collector is designed for continuous 24/7 operation. Downflow technology solves for a major problem in most dust collectors, re-entrenchment. This challenge occurs when the reverse pulse cleaning system purges the filters while it is on operation and the airflow causes the dust to simply go right back onto the filters after it is knocked off. Using our unique down flow technology we avoid re-entrenchment by having the air flow downward so it is guided into the dust bin.
Reduced Velocity: The tighter the space, the faster the air will flow through it (if air volume is constant). When considering velocity in the Brahm™ Dust Collector design, we set out with a goal of having the filters work as little as possible by slowing down the air as it enters the dust collector. This causes some of the dust to simply drop into the dust tray or hopper instead of embedding in the filters. Proper sizing of the unit creates optimal space between the filters and the walls of the unit as well as the filters themselves, thus reducing that velocity (called “can velocity”) and increasing the life of your filters. The combination of down flow technology and low can velocity have a large impact on your filter life and ultimately the cost of ownership.
Controls: One of the most difficult parts of owning any piece of industrial equipment is its maintenance. We have developed controls specifically to ease this burden for you. Using our optional EVO controls, you are able to monitor all aspects of your dust collector and be notified not only when maintenance is required, but also before it happens. You can receive notifications via email and from an app on your phone or desktop. You can also schedule on/off periods that match to your work environment. Our controls allow you to monitor filter status, fan status, fire suppression status and change settings all from your phone, be it from home or at work.
Low Cost Of Ownership: Aftermarket filters are the highest reoccurring cost for most dust and fume collectors. Many in the industry overprice their aftermarket filters, significantly increasing your cost of ownership on the backend. When combining superior filter life, the efficiencies of operating with an optional VFD, and a pledge from Clean Air to not overcharge for filters, we believe the Brahm™ Series of dust and fume collectors offers one of the lowest cost profiles in the industry.
Reliability: With 30 years of manufacturing industrial air equipment, we have units still in operation that are older than some of our employees! It is important to us and our customers that their dust collectors stay in operation to reduce downtime and maximize productivity.
Made in the USA: From cutting the steel to welding and powder coating, all Clean Air Industries Brahm™ Series collectors are manufactured in our facility in Rome, Georgia.
High Production Dust Collection: With customers ranging from BMW, Honda, Toyota, and Polaris, we are the trusted solution in heavy production environments where a reliable dust collector that can match your output is required.
Health and safety issues are being taken very seriously by a growing number of companies as OSHA, International, and industry standards increase.
Many large US manufacturers are planning ahead and adopting European exposure limits as a global standard for their entire company and are exceeding OSHA Standards.
To meet these standards companies must implement a highly efficient dust and fume filtration system to filter out the harmful particulate. The exposure limits these companies are targeting range from .02 – 1 mg/m3 depending on company policy, well below the 5 mg/m3 standard set by OSHA.
