TCAT Morristown was establishing a new $20 million facility for teaching some of the latest technology in advanced manufacturing, welding and HVAC technology. TCAT contacted Clean Air Industries in search of the best fume extraction solutions for protecting their lab and students.
Solution
After reviewing several solutions, TCAT Morristown selected the WeldStation as their solution due to its self-contained design, handsfree ability to extract weld fume, and the energy efficiency of the standard VFDs. Clean Air executed a seamless install with the grand opening attended by Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, TCAT-Morristown President Jerry Young, state Sen. Steve Southerland, and state Rep. Rick Eldridge. Governor Lee even donned a hood and dropped a weld at one of the new WeldStations!
