Defender Portable 2×3 Downdraft Tables by Clean Air Industries are the perfect solution if you’re looking for a quick and effective source capture weld fume extraction solution. With best in class airflow, your welders are able to simply walk up the table and get to work.
Performance: Defender Portable Downdraft Tables are best in class with 300 FPM of true capture velocity, meaning you can still expect solid fume capture welding from about 2 feet off the table.
Side and Back Walls: Hinged side walls and back wall come included with the unit. If you are working on a slightly larger piece, open up the side walls to make more room.
Made in the USA: From cutting the steel to welding and powder coating, all Portable Downdraft Tables are manufactured at our facility in Russellville, Kentucky.
Plasma Kit Available: If you’re doing manual plasma cutting, we have a kit that lets you take care of that heavy fume with a strong fire suppression and mitigation kit included.
Push Button Filter Cleaning: Standard manual push button cleaning, with pressure gauge so you don’t need to worry about keeping your filters clean.
Light Kit Included: 24″ LED light kit is included.

There are many factors to consider when determining how frequently you will need to replace your filters, such as:
• Hours of usage per day
• The application you’re using on your downdraft table
• The type of material you’re working with. For example, oil coated metal will generate thicker fume and smoke that metals that are not oil coated, ultimately impacting the lifespan of your filters.
It is recommended that you inspect your filters at least every 4-6 months.
