Magnetic fume extractors use high-strength magnets to securely attach to steel work surfaces, welding tables, or fixtures, allowing fast and simple placement without permanent mounting. During welding operations, a wide range of base metals, coatings, and consumables can generate hazardous fumes and unpleasant odors that pose health and safety risks.

The extractor is engineered to capture these contaminants directly at the source. As welding fumes are produced, the system draws contaminated air into the capture hood and pulls it through a high-efficiency filtration system. Within the filters, harmful particulate matter and gaseous byproducts are trapped, preventing them from recirculating into the work environment. The cleaned air is then safely returned to the workspace or exhausted as required.

Installation and operation are intentionally straightforward. The aluminum magnetic hood attaches securely to any ferrous metal surface, allowing the unit to be positioned quickly without tools or permanent mounting. Once in place, the system is activated with a simple power-on, immediately beginning source capture at the welding arc.
